Helping Women Find Truth, Strength, Hope…
One Story At A Time.

When you don’t know what to do next… worship.

Have you ever stood in the middle of something that felt both beautiful and broken?

That’s what Palm Sunday feels like to me.

It’s a celebration, yes. A moment of praise and palm branches and shouting “Hosanna!”
But beneath the surface, there’s tension. Jesus wasn’t walking into a party—He was walking toward a cross.

And still… He came.

This week, as I’ve reflected on the steps Jesus took day by day leading to Calvary, I’ve also listened to the quiet echoes in my own heart—and maybe in yours too.
The longing to be seen.
The ache of inconsistency.
The weariness of waiting.
The clutter that piles up inside.
The moments when silence feels easier than trust.

Palm Sunday holds space for all of it.

And it gently invites us—not to fix ourselves—but to worship the One who already knows… and still comes close.

A Week of Holy Tension

This week in the Victorious Women community, we walked through the final days leading to Palm Sunday—not to rush to Easter, but to rest in the tension. We remembered what Jesus said. We noticed what He did. And in each moment, we saw His heart.

Let’s look back for a moment.

He Knew Their Hearts — And Still He Came

Theme: Worth

Jesus heard the crowd cry out “Hosanna!”
And He knew those same voices would cry, “Crucify Him.”
Still… He rode in.

He didn’t come for the faithful. He came for the beloved—even in their failure.

He sees our inconsistent hearts, our hidden shame, our doubts.
And His response? Still… He comes close.

Palm Branch Praise — Who Were They Really Worshiping?

Theme: Truth

The crowd wasn’t praising Jesus for who He really was.
They were cheering for who they wanted Him to be—a rescuer, a conqueror, a political savior.

But Jesus didn’t come to meet expectations.
He came to reveal truth.
And truth doesn’t always match comfort.

How often do we do the same—praise Jesus when He fits our plan, and question Him when He doesn’t?

Still… He welcomes our praise and patiently invites us to see Him more clearly.

Tables and Tears — What He Turns Over, He Loves

Theme: Restoration

When Jesus saw the temple filled with distractions and dishonesty, He didn’t ignore it.
He cleared it.

His righteous anger wasn’t rejection—it was love in motion.
He flips the tables that keep us from Him, not to shame us, but to make space for restoration.

Maybe there are areas in your life where clutter has crept in—emotional, spiritual, or relational.
Still… He comes to clear the way.

A Silent King — Strength in the Surrender

Theme: Trust

Jesus stood before His accusers and chose silence.
Not because He was powerless—but because He was rooted.

He didn’t need to explain Himself. He didn’t have to prove His worth.
He entrusted Himself to the Father—and kept moving forward.

For every woman who’s tired of defending herself, tired of trying to be understood—this moment matters.
Still… He sees you.

Still He Rode In — Love That Doesn’t Turn Back

Theme: Grace

He knew it all.
The betrayal. The denial. The cross.
And still… He rode in.

Jesus didn’t wait for perfect praise, loyalty, or understanding.
He chose love over comfort.
Purpose over safety.
You over self-protection.

Still… He chose you.

Worship in the Tension

And now… here we are. Palm Sunday.

The crowd is shouting.
The tension is thick.
And our own hearts may still feel tender, unsure, or tired.

So what do we do next?

One of our pastors, Pastor Chris, has said something over and over that I’ve tucked deep into my soul:

“When you don’t know what to do next… worship.”

Worship isn’t reserved for the days when we feel strong.
It’s for the days when we feel lost. Weak. Unworthy. Confused.

Worship is an act of surrender and an act of warfare.
It lifts our eyes above the noise.
It tells our fear that it doesn’t have the final word.
It speaks truth when our circumstances feel uncertain.

Even if you can only whisper.
Even if all you have today is silence or tears.
Even if you feel like the stone that cries out when everyone else is singing…

Worship anyway.

A Small Invitation for Today

Take a few moments this Palm Sunday to pause.

Light a candle.
Play a song.
Whisper your own “Hosanna.”
Or simply sit in the quiet and let your soul say: Still… You are worthy.

You don’t have to feel strong.
You don’t have to be certain.
You don’t have to do it perfectly.

Just show up—and worship.
